De kathedraal, een boeg van een schip en een vrouwentorso symboliseren het bestaan van deze stad in het verleden, het heden en de toekomst. De dynamische vormgeving - eigen aan Minne- geeft uitdrukking aan de dynamiek die Antwerpen kenmerkt. Dit werk is een uniek exemplaar.
